Susan Arthur demonstrates her command of the watercolor medium in this eloquent jazz series.  Her fascination with this genre was birthed out of a rich family heritage as her grandfather traveled Montana with his own jazz and blues orchestra. 
Arthur’s loose watercolor technique lends itself well to the vacillating scales of jazz and blues. Today she is an art instructor at Flathead High School and Flathead Valley Community College.
