The Ida M. on the Hungry Horse Reservoir as it was being filled for the first time, May 1952. This tug towed booms of logs on the reservoir. The gated trashracks kept debris from entering the penstocks. When the Hungry Horse Dam was completed in 1953, it was the fourth largest and third highest concrete dam in the world.
