1912-1914: A series of spectacular productions starring Ida Rubinstein dazzle the city of Paris --including Helene de Sparte, a new production of Salome, and La Pisanelle, her second collaboration with Gabrielle D'Annunzio.
Ida lives at the Trianon Palace Hotel in Versailles, with a menagerie of domestic and wild animals, and maintains a studio at 54 Rue Vanneau in Paris. She becomes friends with Sarah Bernhardt through Robert de Montesquiou.
